‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash (Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk) writes about looking forward to meet with the addressee and in response to his request for finding a tutor says that Haji ‘Ali Akbar and Nazim have not found anyone yet, he asks him/her for what subjects he/she has in mind and how much money he/she had put aside for this. Then he talks about some government related news.
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to Surur al-Saltanah along with the envelope. Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk talks about the prevalence of the flu in Tehran his hope that Surur is feeling better, suggesting to her to keep warm and use quinine and to send the rest of her illness in an envelope to him. He hopes that Surur is not upset with him anymore after his explanations about not being able to meet her and asks Surur to set another date with him.

He explains why he could not write last night because of some guests that had to stay overnight due to the rain. He talks about his meeting with Nayyir Qudsiyah and their discussion about the date [probably wedding date] and that they have about eight days left from today, the eighteenth, to the the settled date which is the twenty sixth. He expresses happiness that their separation will come to an end and that Surur will belong to Mu‘azzaz....
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah telling her about meeting with Fakham al-Saltanah and some other representatives of Khurasan; the letter is accompanied by an envelope with Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk's seal and some poems written on it.
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to Surur al-Saltanah telling her about his sadness on leaving her. He mentions Surur al-Saltanah's remark about the photograph on his mantle shelf, that even though she has been joking but he wants to emphasize his loyalty to his wife and explains that the photograph was there just to fill the empty space and as soon as he learned that it upset Surur, he put it in his desk drawer and decided to hand it to Surur when he meets her.
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s love letter to Surur al-Saltanah discussing Surur al-Saltanah's concern about his love and loyalty and talks about the problem of finding a house. He urges Surur not to listen to what other people say. Then, he talks about Mubashshir al-Dawlah's assignment to governorship of Shahrud and how he is following up on possibly renting Mubashshir al-Dawlah's house for themselves. ‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash (Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk)'s letter regarding the money he sent (two hundred and fifty lira) to be used for the travel expenses of Surur al-Saltanah (his wife) and his not having heard about her travel date despite getting the receipt. He mentions how difficult it is to send money and asks the reader to figure out when Surur al-Saltanah is leaving.
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah of how troubled he has been from the tone of Surur al-Saltanah's letter, talks about the problem of finding a house in Tehran, and that his delay is due to his intention to find the best place for Surur al-Saltanah. He mentions a possibility of renting the house of Mubashshir al-Dawlah. He also talks about the belief that some have about the Rabi‘ al-Avval ritual.
